.It was not too long before Kate got to witness a royal marriage. In May 2006, she attended the espousal of the Duchess of Cornwall's son Laura Parker Bowles and her hubby – Calvin Klein undergarments model turned accountant Harry Lopes. Scale, 2005

. In June 2005, William and Kate's university life came to an end. Suddenly, Kate was a target for the shooters, and the youthful couple were followed nearly as they went about their day-to- day lives.

 Split rumours, 2007

. In April that time, the nation was shocked by swirling reports that the royal couple – pictured then at Cheltenham races just one month before – had parted ways. While Clarence House declined to note on the split, BBC Royal Pressman Peter Hunt said"It's a surprise, because it had sounded veritably stable and veritably steady."
