We're wont to seeing official pictures of the royalty at engagements just like the opening of hospitals or Trooping the color . Esteemed photographers are usually available to capture the instant then we get a glimpse through news reports. But some lucky royal fans, or maybe just passers-by, sometimes snap the foremost personable, heart-warming and funny pictures of the royals.

To celebrate the upcoming royal wedding, online printing concern Photobox has launched a nationwide search to make a biography of the famous family from the lens of British public throughout the years. The submissions are still open, and shut on April 2, except for now here's a preview of the wonderful photos people have already submitted.

Captured by Anita Atkinson who spent three nights camping outside Westminster Abbey in preparation for the 2011 Royal Wedding. The shots certainly prove the great seat she ended up having.

Prince Harry

Captured together with his cousin Lady Louise Windsor (the daughter of Edward and therefore the Countess of Wessex) and Tom Pettifer, the son of Harry and William's former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke.
