A friend told Closer Weekly that the couple marked the occasion by enjoying a dinner cooked by one among their favourite chefs after their three children were put to bed.


The pal said the key to their closeness after 10 years is sweet "communication", adding: "Many couples take one another without any consideration after 10 years.

"They are working harder on creating quality time together and switching off at the top of the day. They exerting at their marriage."


The friend said William and Kate are good at 'taking things in their stride' and work well as a team - saying they're academically and emotionally compatible .


This week Kate and William revealed how their children miss their grandfather Philip .
