Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce a series of deals in an effort to expand the media footprint

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making big moves to expand their business empire — one year after exiting the royalty .




Riding the momentum from a blockbuster televised interview, the couple made several announcements in the week , including a replacement partnership with Proctor and Gamble (PG), an equivalent company a young Meghan Markle called out over sexist ads 28 years ago.

The multi-year, global initiative was publicized through the couple's Archewell Foundation, and is about to “focus on gender equality, more inclusive online spaces, and resilience and impact through sport.” A financial agreement has not yet been disclosed.

In addition, Prince Harry's much-anticipated Apple TV+ (AAPL) series with Oprah Winfrey finally features a release date. On Monday, it had been announced that the program — titled "The Me you cannot See" — will debut on May 21.



The series will see Winfrey and Harry, who function co-creators and executive producers, lead discussions on psychological state with high-profile guests including Lady Gaga, Glenn Close, San Antonio Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan, celebrity chef Rashad Armstead, and more. 


The news follows Harry's hiring because the chief impact officer at San Francisco-based psychological state startup BetterUp.


At the instant , there are not any details on his compensation or employment contract , although the Wall Street Journal reports he are going to be joining the company’s leadership team as an “officer of the corporation." 


BetterUp, which serves more than 300 businesses including Hilton, NASA, Chevron, Mars, Genentech, and Snap Inc. And Warner Media, $ 125 million in its most recent financing round - valuing the company at a staggering $ 1.73 billion.


BetterUp's growth means there's more wealth for Prince Harry to share in, putting him further down the road toward financial independence.
