Palace 'disappointed' Prince Harry 'usurped' William and Kate's visit with podcast

Prince Harry's claims on the Armchair Expert Podcast about affected by 'genetic pain' apparently overshadowed Prince William and Kate Middleton's visit to mark psychological state Awareness Week

Palace insiders appear to have been disappointed with Prince Harry as he "raped" his brother's visit to Wolverhampton by recording a controversial podcast.

Kate Middleton and Prince William visited a youth centre within the city on Thursday to mark psychological state Awareness Week.

However, royal insiders reportedly felt it had been a 'shame' that media attention was distracted by Prince Harry's claims about affected by 'genetic pain'.

The Duke of Sussex told the Armchair Expert Podcast that he was trying to 'break the cycle' of pain from his childhood.

A royal source told the days : "It was such a stunning day for the Cambridges. it's a shame that it got usurped by what Harry had to mention .

"It's tons of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway so we as parents should be doing the foremost we will to undertake and say 'you know what, that happened to me, I'm getting to confirm that does not happen to you'."

Harry, who is expecting a daughter with wife Meghan and is already father to son Archie, aged two, compared his life to "a mixture between The Truman Show and being during a zoo".

In a clear criticism of his own father and even the Queen indirectly, Harry said he had endured "some sort of pain or suffering" due to his own dad's experiences growing up.
